About these terms

These terms apply to the Madge Treats website. By browsing the site or using its forms, you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Madge Treats is a bakery based at MQ63+3JW, Taifa, Accra, Ghana, open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. You can reach us on hello@madgetreats.com or on WhatsApp at 059 604 5710.

This site does not take orders

You cannot buy anything on this website. There is no checkout and no payment page here. The order forms only help you write out a WhatsApp message. Sending us that message is a request, not a completed order.

An order only exists once we have replied and confirmed it with you, including the price, the date and how you will pay. Until then, nothing is booked.

Prices and availability

Any prices shown on the site are a guide and can change. Final pricing depends on the size, flavours, decoration and delivery you choose, and we confirm it with you directly. Items may also be unavailable at short notice, since everything is baked to order.

Payments and refunds

Money paid is non-refundable. Once you have paid for an order, whether in part or in full, we begin planning and buying for your bake, so we cannot return that money. If your plans change, talk to us as early as you can and we will do our best to move the date or adjust the order instead.

Allergies — please tell us

Our kitchen works with wheat, eggs, dairy, nuts and other common allergens, and the same equipment and surfaces are used for everything we bake. We cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of an allergen.

If you or anyone eating the order has a food allergy or intolerance, tell us before you confirm the order so we can advise you honestly about whether we can make it safely.

Photographs of our work

Everything is handmade, so photographs on this site show the style of our work rather than an exact copy of what you will receive. Colours, finishes and decorative details vary between bakes.

Reviews and feedback

When you send us a review or feedback, you allow us to quote it in our own marketing, including on this site and on social media. Only send us words and images you are happy for us to use, and please keep them honest and free of anything offensive or someone else's private information.

Our content

The photographs, text, logo and design on this site belong to Madge Treats. You are welcome to share links to the site. Please do not copy our photographs or text for your own business without asking us first.

Using the site sensibly

Please do not try to break, overload or interfere with the site, and do not use our forms to send abusive, misleading or unlawful messages.

Other websites

This site links out to WhatsApp, Instagram and Google Maps. We do not control those services and are not responsible for them.

No guarantees about the site itself

We keep the site accurate and available as best we can, but we cannot promise it will always be online or entirely free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you, or our responsibility for the food we actually sell you.

Which law applies

We bake and sell in Ghana, so these terms are governed by Ghanaian law and any dispute we cannot settle between us will be handled by the courts of Ghana.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
